오래전 겨울날,
우리 동네 한 아주머니가 당신의 집 마당에서 바지런히 김장을 할라치면,
동네 사람들은 마치 약속이라도 한 듯이 흥겨운 얼굴을 하고선
그 집으로 몰려가 김장을 거들곤 했었는데,
그 김장은 순식간에 떠들썩한 동네잔치로 바뀌기가 일쑤였다.
One winter day in a long time ago,
when a madam in the village of us did Kimjang in the yard of her house,
as if our village people were promised,
it flocked into the house with bright smiles and assisted the work.
And naturally, the Kimjang grows up and used to be an exciting feast for our village.
Now, with the landscape in front of me,
the memory of the time dimly floats in my mind.
