우리 자신은 콩 하나를 1억 조각으로 나누고, 그 조각 하나하나에 의미를 부여하지 않는다. 왜냐하면, 그러한 행위는 너무나 어리석다는 것을 우리 자신은 잘 알고 있기 때문이다. 하지만, 우리 자신은 지구를 그렇게 하고 있지 않는가 We ourselves do not divide a single bean into a hundred million pieces and assign meaning to each and every piece. 흐르는 물 Flowing water, 2016

흐르는 물을 붙잡으려고 애쓰는 것은 어리석음이다. 그러한 어리석음을 집착이라고 한다. Trying to grasp flowing water is foolishness. Such foolishness is what we call attachment. 流れるものをつかもうとするのは愚かさである。そのような愚かさを執着と呼ぶ。

비가 오면 땅이 젖고, 바람이 불면 나뭇잎이 흔들린다. 이러한 진리를 모르니, 우리 자신의 삶은 괴롭다. When it rains, the ground gets wet, and when the wind blows, the leaves sway. If we do not know this truth, our lives become painful. 雨が降れば地面が濡れ、風が吹けば木の葉が揺れる。このような真理を知らなければ、私達自身の人生は苦しいものになる。
