밧삭 마른 잎으로 떨어지는 저 진잎은 무엇이며, 새파란 잎으로 떨어지는 저 진잎은 무엇인지... 그들의 무게는 그들이 안고 살았던 삶의 무게일는지... 한껏 맑고 푸르게 살다가, 맑고 푸르게 떠남에 아무런 미련이 없다는 것인지, 진잎은 다음 생으로 바람을 타고 저리도 가벼이 가벼이 떠난다. 아름답게 산 존재들만이 저리 떠날 수 있는 거겠지... 사람은 왜 저리 살지 못하는 것일까... 온갖 욕념으로 찌워져 가는 사람의 살들은 다이어트를 모르기에, 세월 따라 늘어가는 무게에 삶은 짓눌린다. 그 삶이 얼마나 부질없는 삶인지, 저 진잎은 잘 아는지 바람 위를 저리도 잘 노닌다. 삶의 무게가 무거우면, 삶은 고통에 젖은 옷을 입고 냉랭한 겨울을 지내야 하지만, 가벼우면 저 진잎 같으리... 상천으로, 천구지평 너머로 떠나는 그들의 몸짓에서 또 다른 여행의 설렘이 엿보인다. 신생의 빛을 호의(好衣)하고 더 나은 세상으로 가는 시작...

싱그러움 다 내어주고 떠나가는 소리..
살갗에 찬바람 닿고,
앙상한 가지에 눈 내리면..
네 생각 많이 날 거야...
