구름향기 그윽한 강은 어느새 어둠에 잠기어 하늘로 향하고 있었다. 그 근사한 강길을 따라 집으로 가는 동안 하늘은 점점 더 선명해졌다. The cloud scented river was engulfed in darkness and heading toward the sky before I knew it. As I walked home along that beautiful river path, the sky became clearer and clearer.

끝끝내 채워지지 않을, 허기진 인간의 배고픔  The human hunger that will not be filled to the end

초연한 마음은 물의 일렁임에 휩쓸리지도 가라앉지도 않는다. The detached mind is neither swept away by the water nor subsides.

아이의 설렘이 공포로 바뀌기까지는 그리 긴 시간이 필요하지 않았다. 1초면 충분했다. ^^ It did not take long for the child's thrill to change to fear. It took only a second to feel fear. :)

어둠이 없었더라면, 우리는 빛의 향연을 흥감할 수 없었을 것이고, 우리의 삶은 처참했을 것이다. 우리에게 빛의 다양한 완연함을 선사하는 어둠은 알고 보면, 빛의 어머니이다. If there had been no darkness, we would not have been able to enjoy the feast of light, and our lives would have been miserable. Darkness which gives us the various beauties of light, is the mother of light.

대개, 행운은 노력의 땀을 먹고 자란다. 그것은 어느 날 갑자기 하늘에서 떨어지는 것이 아니다. 그러니까 행운은 진실한 삶의 보너스 같은 것이다. ^^ Usually, luck grows with the sweat of effort. That is not falling from the sky one day suddenly. So, luck is like a bonus to a sincere life. :)
